Join the Farmer & The Flea Holiday Market on November 23rd in Santa Barbara

The Farmer & The Flea Holiday Markets will take place on November 23rd and December 21st, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park (123 E. Canon Perdido Street, Santa Barbara).

These open-air community markets will feature 75+ vendors, live music, and even a dog adoption event. Shoppers can enjoy a festive, family-friendly atmosphere while discovering unique, locally crafted gifts, seasonal goodies, and more.

Be sure to mark your calendar and come celebrate the season with this lively holiday tradition at one of Santa Barbara’s most historic landmarks!

New Multi-Use Path Along Modoc Road to Bridge Critical Gap in Coastal Route

A new one-mile multi-use path along Modoc Road in Santa Barbara will fill a vital gap in the California Coastal Route, connecting Goleta and Santa Barbara. The ADA-compliant path will improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists and is expected to be widely used. Discover Santa Barbara’s Stunning New Tipton Trail

The new 1.3-mile Tipton Trail is now open, starting at the Pollinator Garden and offering diverse habitats, a creek crossing, and stunning views of the Channel Islands and Arlington Peak. Plan your visit through the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden website. (link)

Water Main Replacement on Portesuello to Continue Through Spring 2025

The City will replace the water main on Portesuello Avenue starting November 18, causing traffic delays, parking restrictions, and occasional water outages. Completion is expected by spring 2025. Residents will be notified of outages in advance.
